(this is a quick mobile updateeee)
Hello everyone. I'm sorry about ignoring LJ again.
I'm pretty sure that everyone is aware of what has been happening in Japan lately. Yes, the earthquake stroke here too, but it wasn't as strong as in the areas near the sea. We were safe from the tsunami, too.
There have been many aftershocks but they're getting weaker. People have already got used to them.
We near Tokyo area don't have to worry too much about natural disasters. However, there's only one big problem at the moment - the nuclear power plant.
I'm not scared of it. We can read about explosions and other scary things happening there, but if Japanese people are staying calm, I will also keep my head cool.
But now it has put my exchange year in danger.
My Rotary club in Finland already gave me an order to go back home because my parents wanted it and because "they're the ones who decide for me." If I do so, I might not be able to come back to Japan...
The situation is getting better though. My dad told me that if Japanese Rotarians think it is not neccassery to leave Japan, I can stay. They will have a meeting today where they decide what will happen to the exchange students in Saitama area. My host club will also discuss the matter of my staying. If they decide that I have to leave, when can I come back? The next week? In two weeks? Can I return as an exchange student anymore?
