Brief history of your character:
Connor is from Leeds but has lived in London for the last couple years now, attending Central Metropolitan University and majoring in Palaeontology. Connor’s always been interested in conspiracy theories which is how he got roped into being on the ARC team with his professor Nick Cutter when anomalies (holes in time) started popping up.
Connor’s natural talent for technology and love of dinosaurs made him perfect as their resident tech genius, creating databases of information on prehistoric animals as well as the Anomaly Detection Device, which has a large computer at the ARC as well as handheld units for taking in the field. He has generally stuck to being the brains of the operation, since the few times he’s used firearms (or other types of weaponry) it usually ends up with him accidentally injuring himself or one of his teammates. However, after his mentor Cutter died Connor has taken up a lot more responsibility of the team in his absence.
People in his life: Cutter was his mentor, the Yoda to his padawan. Abby is the team animal expert and Connor’s roommate and crush. Becker is head of security and heads up the "muscle". Jenny was the head PR person for the ARC but is no longer working there. Danny is the new team leader. Sarah is a historian and new to the team. Tom and Duncan were his two best friends outside of the ARC team, now just Duncan since Tom died in a parasitic dinosaur related incident.
Brief synopsis of your character's personality:
Connor is a dork, simply said. He is easily liked even though most people on his team find him irritating and they don't always take him seriously. He doesn't often take things too seriously either, sometimes rushing into danger or, for instance, not understanding why keeping dinosaurs as pets would be considered a bad thing. He is a very loyal teammate and friend. He is often eager to help and eager to please, especially with Cutter who he looked up to and wanted to impress as his student.
He is in love with Abby but happy to just be friends and flatmates with her instead and it does not stop him from dating as she does not return his affections. He's an optimist and loves to learn. He loves games and is very nosy (see above comment re: irritating ;D).

Age: 26
Appearance: Scruffy dark brown hair, on the long side. Brown eyes. Occasionally has facial hair when he doesn't care or remember to shave. Has a few scars as he is often klutzy and his job is sometimes dangerous but nothing spectacularly noticeable. Often found in a t-shirt, vest, scarf, fingerless gloves, sweatshirt, blazer, cords, converse sneaks and a fedora.

What is the point of your character's canon in which you are introducing your character? : Between episode 8 and 9 of Series 3. After Jack but before... everything else.
Is your character alive or dead at the point of entry to the game?: Alive though mildly injured.
What skills does your character have?: Geek skillz! Hacker, HTML coding, pretty much anything having to do with a computer. Specialty is dinosaurs and his baby is the digital encyclopedia he created of all known and theorized creatures from times gone by. Is a fountain of random knowledge, especially to all things dork. Generally created and maintains the anomaly detector software at the ARC.
Your character will find 10 personal items in their room that the island has placed there. You may only include things that your character would have canonically. Please list them here.:
1. Box set of original Star Wars movies, some Bond films (VHS) and Blake's 7 (DVD).
2. Black fedora with a pin on the side
3. Connor's hard copy of Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs
4. Laptop - he never goes anywhere without it. And his Kindle.
5. Handheld Anomaly Detector Device, SatNav, walkie.
6. A couple of photos tucked in the mirror- One with him, Abby, and their three dinosaurs. Another of him and Becker and Becker's team - Connor's Army, he affectionately calls them (though not to their faces, them being upright military types). A candid of Cutter and Stephen at the ARC. And one with Tom, Duncan and him from a Halloween past.
7. A well-loved Dungeons and Dragons case with his materials inside.
8. A couple underground comics, also well-loved and often read. His favorite is a noir crime thriller series.
