asked my teacher about the whole 666 thing, and then looked it up and youd be surprised what it really means. In ancient hebrew script, words were sometimes written in numbers as a form of code, especially during the roman persecution of jews and christians in the first century.
666 translates to Nero, the insane emperor who blamed christians and jews for the fire that he set that burn 1/3 of rome to the ground. so, 666, meaning Nero, who was hated by the 'people of god', slowly began to jsut represent evil, not satan or anythgin like that.
the roman catholic church and the modern church of satan began to use 'the tripple six' to mean satan, because, as we all know, satan tries to corrupt the souls of christians and jews everyday with his tempation to sin.Nero tried to kill the jews and christians because of their beliefs. see the fucked up connection? now dont get me wrong, im not a religious person in any sense of that word....'religion' but i think the whole '666' thign is jsut retarded. RE-TARD-ED. i mean, hey, if yer into thinking that god is fake but somehow satan is real, go for it. but consider this: in order for a strong sense of evil to survive and not engulf the word, there needs to be an equally powerful source of good. i think that the whole good evil thing is just inside everyone, there is no god, no satan, that is, except for what lies withing ourselves.
