A week of Partying & Quizzes
this past week has actually been ridiculously fun; went out partying with family almost everyday - relatives from Cali are over so we threw a party for them, rents's anniversary so we threw a party for them, cousin's birthday so we threw a party for him, and random family gatherings *ahem* (parties)
i did have to miss one party at sifu's though because i had to stay home and babysit the 8 kiddies - 2 brothers, 1 sister, and 5 cousins (3 of whom are toddlers) - while the rents, uncs, and aunts went to a wedding reception. fun, fun! it was okay though, the party was held for those who went to Montreal to compete at nationals but we've already had like 5 parties for that i think, i know we've had 3 at the least, sheesh! =_= lol
this morning the family and relatives went out ... yet again! to niagra falls while Alfred and i stayed home because Xuan asked us to help him with some lion dancing for his friend's new restaurant. damn guys were supposed to pick us up at 10 am but we ended up being picked up at 11:30 am so we waited an hour and a half and i didn't feel like doing it anymore ... ugh =_= but i'm glad we did because my bro and i made $75 each (i actually had more because the lion's get more money and my bro was playing the symbols but me being the nice guy that i am split the money evenly between us when we got home) for doing only about 10 minutes of jumping around lol i got a sore lower back though because of being the back end of the lion having to be bent over for the entire performance oh well and i also had my nose kicked by Xuan while lifting him up so that he can sit on my head and reach the lettuce hanging on the ceiling but oh well ... it's quick cash! =P
i've also come up with a new idea for a game and i've made some sprite animations for it

i'm glad that i don't have to resize this guy by hand because the original images are TIIINNNYYY!!! but good thing for LJ and PhotoBucket, i don't have to! =D
i actually quite like these because they're quite cute and they amuse me =P
i use a blank digital canvas as the sprite sheet where i make rough drafts before i animate them but they still need some polishing like adjusting the speed of the animations at certain frames and shifting entire sections of animations (ugh ... donkey work) to make animations more fluid and livelier
