I see a lot of people introduce themselves this way. And I thought to myself that It's important for people to understand a little more then my profile. So I am writing a little more.
In my profile I talk about how I am this cool nerd/geek person. But Thats got a pretty big stereotype behind it. Which in my case is true...but not the point here.
I am a rather driven individual. I have a sixth sense of progress and time. I can spend years honing a skill. I can change myself over long periods of time. But that slow march has an end. And it usually ends in the triumph of persistence.
I am pretty metal, hardcore, kick ass and 1337.
I like 80's metal, and yes some metal from the 90's and the new millennium. My choice in music is not skin deep or whimsical. It strikes a cord with me and harmonizes with a desire to be “righteous” and have an undeniable correctness. It's all about saying “No sir, this time I am right. And you are gonna sit down right there and listen to me.” But you know I am not at all like that unless I need to be. I am very submissive and tend to avoid conflict if it's possible and makes no difference. So that music is sometimes my stress reliever.
I like H.R. Giger's work. What is there not to like about it? He is an artist in some really fascinating ways. Which brings me to my second point. HardCore. Yes I like many things most people would find strange or worse disgusting, immoral, and evil. (Magic:The gathering) But that is my way of life. You can't understand something until you know whats good about it, And whats bad about it.(religion) A balanced view on life brings a balanced and healthy set of morals to the table for you.(abortion) History tells us that if you always believe what your parents and people you trust tell you about whats right and wrong. One day it will lead to witch hunts, massacres and religious zealots.(lolcats) Even if they are right “most” of the time, how can anyone know just how blinded they are by there own trust of that information.(google) I don't do “drugs”, I don't gamble, I don't drink, and I don't smoke. And it's not because I've experienced every one of them.(bannans) Or that I've not been introduced, propositioned and had to deny all of them.(WoW)(Eve) But I am quite clever at observing things as I believe most people are.(Crack) It's obvious, read between the lines people.
Umm I'll skip kick ass. I don't think anyone that's kick ass should have to explain there kickassery. Thats just contradictory.
1337. It's leetspeak for leet... As in Elite. Yes I am that. Why you say? Because I knew what 1337 spells in it numbers and it's qualifying definition! And now you to can be 1337! But you have to mail me 4 dollars and a bottle of your favorite caffeinated drink. So that I can get you the proper forms. And a bag of peanuts. And an apology for those of you I've killed by sending you a bag of peanuts. Sorry, it can't be helped. If you kill yourself you just can't be 1337, it's against the rules.
