(no subject)
Well I am done will all my classes. It's my intuition that i met my goals on Government 1 and 2. And Art Appreciation.
My last final today was Collage algebra. i did not do so well.
I thought because there were only four test that the last test would not be comprehensive. Due to the fact that she had to move the date back on the fourth test over the final exam date. So we were going to have 4 tests instead of five. So fourth = last test therefor its on the last chapters in the book. But i was really wrong about that. Last test was Final, which was comprehensive and covered material None of the other tests covered. Like she found a way to test us on half the material most of the year and then used the other half for the final. Wtf! So i was in a position that i only studied for about 10% of that test. witch makes me feel really stupid.
i was there for 2 1/2 hours working on that test. I computed that she was using a 100 point metric for grading and that i had earned 66 points +/-2. without any kind of curve. Which there may yet be on this exam. Still i feel like i did well under the circumstances. I am highly resourceful in nature, but math relies more on recalling specific and detailed definitions and functions that i almost never use.
Would it not be more prudent to show that given the terminology and steps i could solve the problem? In the real world I would be able to look up the definitions and steps right? Unless i am a Math major i probably do Not need to know this stuff... i just need to know how to use it.
That could just be me upset and winy about it. i should have payed more attention to what was happening. And tried more then e-mailing the teacher... she never answered me... so i should have called her or something.
