I love our new house.
The yardwork isn't as bad when it's MY yard.
I planted a hydrangea and have potted geraniums and hibiscus on the front steps. We planted herbs (cilantro, basil, oregano) in a pot on the back deck. Spent hours weeding and it looks less like a wilderness now!
The bedroom is painted (gray walls, blue vertical stripes), we got a new awesome pillowtop mattress set and it's soooo soft. It's looking good! I don't like painting very much but it's so personal when it's done, I am almost looking forward to getting the other couple rooms painted. We have picked colors and bought the paint for the dining room (green) and front room/library (mocha brown) so far, I don't know what the guest bedrooms or bathrooms will be. That can be figured out later this summer!
I am so glad the weather is getting nice again. Mmmm bring on the 80s again this week!
