long time no see.
hmmm it's been a while so I will just try to summarize my life recently.
I moved to NC. I am housesitting & dogsitting for the whole summer so I have a whole house to myself and a dog for the first time. Her name is Judy and she is very sweet. It is weird having a whole house of my own... and it has bugs. I've killed 3 cockroaches. ick.
I've been working at Time Warner Cable for 2 weeks now. I really like it. The people are great and the work is pretty interesting. I schedule commercials on cable. So if you see a local commercial (well if you're in NC or SC) when watching any of 40+ cable networks, I may have put it there. It will be neat to turn on TV and know that I scheduled that commercial to run at that time :)
Wes and I celebrated our 11 month anniversary a couple weeks ago and are coming up on one year this July 6. So exciting! Time has flown but at the same time it hasn't. It seems like it has been forever but at the same time it feels like just yesterday. I'm so in love. Things are just great, except for the fact that I am 15 minutes from him when I am at home and he is at home, so it adds a little commute to our time together (and I already have 30 minutes to and from work - so much commuting!).
hmmm what else. I am mad at Wake Forest for screwing up my mail. I wanted to keep my school PO Box open for the summertime since I don't have a long-term address yet. I went a couple times to get it figured out and they entered it into the computer and said I had it through September 1. So, of course, I assumed they knew what they were talking about. But no. My parents sent me a package this week of some stuff from home and I asked Wes to go get it during the day since he works at Wake and that is where my PO Box is. He IMs me shortly thereafter and tells me that my PO Box had been closed!!! I am so mad! So I had all this mail that got returned to sender, including this package from my parents that contains my first student loan bills. Argh. Tomorrow I have to go to a proper post office that knows what they are doing and open another box, then redirect all my mail. Such a pain.
What else have I been up to? working a lot (8 to 5), making yummy dinners and eating with Wes, I watched Narnia a couple days ago, playing softball, walking the pup, going to sleep early, I went tubing last weekend in Danbury, NC, and that was a ton of fun. I have not been keeping up with my friends nearly enough and for that I apologize. I'm going to figure out my schedule soon and make time to call people and send e-mails, etc.
don't know if there has really been too much else. regardless, this is all for now!
