...Actually it is Harinezumi.

It means "hedgehog".

I named mine Mona. My best friend's name from back home.

It's a small wheel that you put inside the cage for your pet to run around in. The man in the pet store said it's important for hedgehogs to get exercise, since they're used to roaming in the outside.

Hari has the bedroom when Rin and I are gone, and the entire apartment to wander when I am there. I do not think he requires additional assistance in exercise.

He usually only roams during the evening though.
