When it comes to old Hollywood actors, there are many stars who graced the screen and even today are able to move us in a way that most newer actors can't quite pull off. Among the big names like Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant, Clark Gable, and so many others, was Gregory Peck. He's always been my favorite of the bunch - you know when watching one of his films that, whatever drama or chaos is going on, when he comes on the screen, it will all somehow be okay. Perhaps this is best exemplified in his most famous role as Atticus Finch in 1962's To Kill a Mockingbird. If you haven't read the book or seen the film lately, it may be time to do so, with the 50th anniversary of the Oscar-winning flick fast approaching.
