so the day starts off with me waking up to jones cell phone at 6 am. at 8 am i wake up and hop in my brothers s-line a4 and go racing my way to the ambulance place. i get there and they tell me my assignment is at candlewood sweets(sweet), which is where they have this awesome hotel room for us to chill between calls.
call 1
lady complaining of leg pain
we arrive at this property that is about 5 acres in the middle of garden grove but looks like a place you would expect in kentucky or some other rural area. walking through some unkept bushes and gravel we arrive through the back door into a kitchen that has not been touched in years. there was literally a 1/8th inch thick dust covering the entire kitchen. a very old woman was complaining of leg pain and has not left the house in 9 years. she was blind and looked and smelled like a homeless lady. she had kids there that were white trashy but at least clean. in the ambulance the lady told us to call the fbi to let them know where she was going. she also told us some doctor tried to give her a vasectomy in the 70s.
call 2
old man with his leg pointed the wrong way, while on the ground screaming in pain he locked his garage door latch because trying to close the garage was how it happened
call 3
assault
call 4
cardiac arrest, we ride there full on with sirens and get lost, if we used non paper maps and some gps system we wouldve gotten there quicker. right as we hop out of the ambulance the emt guy goes "you know your cpr" and i go "yes" and he goes "good youre going to be using it." finally , im like oh steez i get to do something, then we arrive and hes dead on arrival.
call 5
