This past month has been a might bit crazy. In the process of building the new computer, I've inadvertedly fried my old Dell. But since then, I've finished two computers. One to temporarily replace the Dell, the other to become my primary work computer for my writing, web design, and my artwork. I've still got one more computer to build, a gaming rig that's gonna plug into my tv.
I've been woking so much at Best Buy lately that I haven't been able to do much in the realm of artwork. Hopefully, with the completion of this new computer, in addition to a new tablet that will be on it's way to my home shortly. Hopefully, I'll finally be able to do some inking and coloring on the computer again.

Though I haven't been drawing as much, I have been writing. I will be preparing to begin a new run of
no/fly/zone. I lament that the story never really panned out for me in both the writing and production process. But I do remember when I first began the comic way back in fall 2004, it was a one-shot funny page, like Penny Arcade or VG Cats, sans story, yet retaining plenty of it's hilarity.
So I think the new no/fly/zone shall return to its roots. If it gets bigger and I get fans, cool. If not, whatever. In any case, I think I'm doing it more for the fact that these are some ideas floating in my head that I've wanted to see played out for a long, long time.
Grey Matter is a different story altogether. I've decided a little while ago that the actual books fo Grey Matter are a long, long way off. But I don't think I'll abandon the sub-site completely. Instead, I'm going to use the Grey Matter subdomain as a hub for my demonstration comics. Items from fan-comics, original comics, even illustrated stories that don't fit in anywhere else on the site will fall under the Grey Matter site, thus making its name a little more true than before: a site for all of my gray matter.

Next weekend I'm going to Charlotte, North Carolina for
HeroesCon. It's been two years since I've been to Heroes and I am, for the lack of a better word, "giddy". I'm looking forward to seeing the crew I normally see at the conventions. And this is only making me more and more excited for the upcoming Dragon Con.
Until next time, kids.
