Sorry...
Problem fixed. Not the IE problem, mind you -- half the pages still come up HUGE -- but the Firefox difficulties.
I killed the middle "Bookmarks" bar, so now I'm happier with the window size. I imported all my bookmarks with two clicks of the mouse. Even rearranged them the way I had them in Avant!
So pardon my little rant. Cooler heads have prevailed.
