Germans hoarding incandecent light bulbs

Sure, florescent bulbs may take a moment to "warm up" and shouldn't be used in lamps that get turned on and off frequently without being left on very long (like the toilet - I went through four bulbs in there before I finally googled it) - but I switched all my lamps years ago. Now I'm just waiting for a decent LED "bulb" that can be used for something other than a spot light (which is just fine for my tiny "water closet").
