Man what a crazy day yesterday at work. The details are irrelevant but some of my users, as great as they are, drive me bonkers sometimes.

Most users were unable to print. We are working on correcting it but it's a slow process. That process slow down to a crawel once I have to start fixing what the users did to fix it themself. They really just don't understand the concept of our network.

I receive an email yesterday from PlaP saying their printer is possessed! Umm...ok...I somehow doubt that the devil himself would decide to come back to earth to rain chaos and havok on the people of earth as...a HP DeskJet 5550...must've missed that part of the bible. *shrugs* I tell them to unplug the print to clear out whatever existing print jobs are in it's queue. But I am really baffled by why it is randomly printing people's names.

Moments later I receive and email...from another user. So this user, in their infinate wisdom and "technical support training" decided to try and fix their printing problem themself. This has never ended good for IT. Turns out she added her printer back to "computer" (read...her server profiles) herself. Which printer did she end up choosing? Yup...PlaP! *shakes head* So now...instead of me being able to concentrate on the problem at hand, I have to log into EACH server and remove her printers, eatting up 30 mins of my critical time. *throws hands in the air*.

I have since removed everyone's ability to add printers...again. Teach me for being nice.
