My Life as I know it

I started this new journal because I wanted to start over fresh. At the time, I felt like I was a different person than the one who started the crazygyrlie journal. I had intended to update on a more regular basis, but my work schedule prevented that. I didn't have time for anything during tax season. I worked at IHOP from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. I would leave there and go straight to H&R Block and work until 9 p.m. and then come home, go to bed and wake up the next morning only to do it all over again. Needles to say, I am very glad tax season is over.

Now here I sit 10 days after tax season ended, staring at my severly cluttered bedroom and the mounds of laundry I have let pile up over the last 3 months. It disgusts me. I just haven't been motivated, until today, to do anything about it. I'll spend most of my afternoon sorting and washing all this laundry and bagging up all the useless shit into garbage bags and taking it to the curb.

I have been wanting to move out of my parents house for a while, but I have been afraid that with my car payment, insurance and the rest of my bills that I wouldn't be able to afford it on my own. Well, my friend Melinda has invited me to come live with her so I am taking her up on it. She has all kinds of furniture and stuff so my Mom said that I could leave everything I don't need at the apartment right now here in my room. I just need to buy some locks for the doors so my brother and sister can't get into my things.

I have also come across a new job. I'll be working for CitiCard starting June 18th. I'll be making $9.25/hr. with benefits starting the same day I do. I get to make my own schedule, but I have to follow a couple guidlines. I'm really excited!!

All in all, I'm doing really well. Paul will be home sometime in the last 2 weeks of May. I'm very very excited!! I can't wait to be back in his arms :)
