Is The Good Wife worth watching? What exactly is it about?

It's FANTASTIC. Julianna Marguiles plays a lawyer who comes back to work after a long absence and after her husband is arrested and convicted (sex scandal *and* political scandal). She's so, so good it's scary. I love this show. (Such fantastic female roles! Julianna, Christine Baranski, Archie Panjabi <333)

Plus Josh Charles - the first thing I have seen him in since Sports Night - he's awesome.

I don't see Justified on your list - for my money, it was the best new show of last season.

Covert Affairs makes me want to kill myself. Drivel drivel shit. (But I need a show that makes me angry and SPN is not on).

Rizzoli & Isles is sunshine and everything that's nice in the world (not that they don't have sad moments, but then again, everything has, but a show about female friendship? That's not a fucking soap drama shit? And it's a procedural? And the women are awesome? And they're Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander? Based on a bestselling book series written by a woman? And Isles has a PET TORTOISE? YES, PLEASE)

Also, P.U.K.E. And Maura cried because Jane wouldn't take off her shirt (no, really, that's what happened, right? :D)

And ya know, there's this FBI agent in the first episode? And Maura and Jane both kind of like him sort of, but they go about it like the friends that they are, and joke about showing him their tits and they laugh and they're obviously more interested in their friendship than that guy and I'm like *______________* YES.

(I have issues with plot and pacing and ya know, being a predictable procedural. but Jane and Maura are just so lovely...)
