The problem with Writing being the last part of the Practical English exam is that after three hours of exams and enough caffeine, after I've skipped breakfast, I tend to get snarky and sarcastic and try and be funny, which I'm usually not. Were they part of a discursive essay-type piece? Or a story? 'cos, if they were, and I came across them as a marker, I'd be so overjoyed to read such intelligent, witty thought! Seriously!

I tended to write sf stories for essays whenever I could since primary school. At least they'll have something interesting to read.

OT And because I need to share this with the world: Sapkowski won the Gemmell Award (an English fantasy award) for Blood of Elves. YAY for Polish fantasy.
