Illegal immigration.
1. The US needs to stop all Foreign aid to countries in which the illegals are pouring into the United States from.
2. The US needs to stop all foreign aid to Mexico until they secure their borders and cease to be a complacent conduit for the invasion of the United States.
3. There should be NO federal or state aid given to illegal immigrants. No food stamps, medicaid or other services. Receipt of benefits should be reserved for those who are Citizens. NO Federal or State monies funneled through charitable or religious organizations for services for illegal aliens.
4. Make enrollment in a US public school dependent on US Citizenship or legal status in the United States. Those that would rail against such a measure are welcome to donate to the myriad of organizations that will undoubtedly pop up to provide education to those who are illegally in this country. School Districts are buckling under the weight of the needs of illegal aliens and their need to teach them English. US Citizens are suffering as our schools decline and we are no longer turning out graduates with the education needed to be competitive on a global scale, hence the need to import workers with higher education. An ugly vicious circle that is destroying America.
5. Those countries with such internal turmoil that it's citizens are fleeing do not need US foreign aid dollars, their government, police force and military need training on how to get it under control. Instead of giving so US trade to China, our enemy, maybe the US should invest in the countries that are potential allies and buy from them, help them get profitable and humane industry started. Don't give them hand outs, give them tools to combat the issues that are destroying their country and draining it of its citizens.
6. Close the loop hole that allows those born on US soil to claim US Citizenship and stop chain immigration. The US is the ONLY industrialized nation that has citizen based on "Jus solis" right of soil vs. "Jus sanguinis" right of blood.
7. Reinforce our borders and man them so that they can not be so easily crossed. If the Romans could build a wall in the year 122 to successfully secure it's borders, there is no reason why we can not do the same with the materials and technology that we have available today.
8. Increase funding to Border Patrol and ICE so they can hire the man power they need to address the mission at hand and continue to fulfill their critical mission. With the current reduction in forces of the US Military, there is a large pool of former US Military personal that should be given preferential hiring as many already have the skills necessary and will require less training.
9. Increase funding to the United States Coast Guard, the ONLY branch of the Military tasked with Homeland Security. This will ensure that the Coast Guard can successfully fulfill all ELEVEN of their critical missions, of which Ports, waterways, and coastal security, Drug interdiction, Defense readiness, Migrant interdiction and Other law enforcement that are critical pieces of securing our borders.
10. Kill any and all legislation that provides US Citizenship to illegal aliens. The ONLY path to US Citizenship should be through legal immigration. Do not reward those that broke the law with legal status. Do not release those that enter the US illegally, detain them and deport them. Ensure that any and all illegal aliens will be deported, regardless of the age that they entered this country. Minors can be returned to the country of origin. The US should not be a dumping ground for the children of other countries.
12. All Employers should be 100% responsible for verifying the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States. Those that fail to comply should be fined, those that intentionally hire illegal workers should be so heavily penalized that they can no longer function unless they hire legal workers. Companies should be rated on their percentage of Employment Verification, so that consumers have to opportunity to ensure that the landscaping company, construction company, maid service and restaurants that they eat at are hiring legal workers.
13. When the US is no longer the land of milk and honey with opportunities for those who break our laws and enter this country illegally, the tide of illegal immigrants will stop.
14. Lastly, ENGLISH should be the language of this country. I don't go to other countries and expect them to know English, that is rude and inconsiderate. No more press 1 for English or having to opt in for English.
This is undoubtedly wishful thinking on my behalf as I doubt that there is a politician out there with the fortitude to put through such legislation. If there was, I would vote for them and campaign for them and I am quite sure their would be overwhelming support for this legislation.
It's time to take America back.
