NY Theater Weekend

Just got back from our annual NY Theatre Weekend. Had a blast. here's some thoughts on the shows we saw this year

Fuerza Bruta - Every bit as amazing as De La Guarda. This Argentinian troups performance art is electric, acrobatic, sexy and truly mind-blowing. Around the time they starting lowering the pool out of the rafters over our heads I think

Thanks for the reviews! I'm hoping to repeat my 2007 theater intensive visit to NYC in April. I'd have never considered Shrek but after your comments, it's high on my list!

After your description of Fuerza Bruta, I guess I need to make a trip to New York.

I was fortunate enough to have seen De La Guarda twice, and I would easily have gone a half dozen times more. I was exposed to it by two of my best buddies in New York, and I'll be forever grateful to them. I still shake my head in wonder, and smile at the memories, when I think of the magic that burst through the ceiling on those two fantastic nights.

I can't wait to see Fuerza Bruta!

Very jealous. I loved De La Guarda, and would live to see one or all the shows you saw.
