The problem with videos like this one you've made is that the feelings they induce in me are tremendously hard to put into words. Terrific video? Understatement of the year, as far as I'm concerned. Magnificent, the way the music blends with Spike's behaviour in his crypt after the AR and with the lyrics (right after "I walk alone"). Dead Things scenes? Splendid synchronization and relevance in relation to the lyrics. Buffy/Angel kiss on the "You have chosen your own destiny" part of the lyrics? Don't know whether I should laugh at the irony or cry at the unfairness of it all. Breathtaking, nevertheless. "All for the love of my life", Buffy's image split into two as it alternates with the screenshot from Beneath You, with Spike on that cross - superb! You were right, it is dark, but it's precisely this darkness that makes it even more fascinating to watch and rewatch.

I can't thank you enough for what must have been an awful amount of work that you've put into making it. I just hope you know how I feel even when I'm busy hugging the "WOW, me lost dictionary again" mantra close to my chest. I don't think there are enough adjectives in my vocabulary that would fully express the countless ways in which your fabulous video touched me. And you know what, that's fine, because I'm pretty sure that it is powerful enough to speak on its own without words that could never do it justice. Except for "jewel of Dary's collection". I kind of like this. :P Although, were I to search my slightly obsessive memory, I could find reasons to quarrel with that as well (V for Vendetta and Wicked Game videos come to mind ;) ). The way I keep saying "that's it, this is the peak of Dary's talents, she couldn't possibly come up with something more love-worthy than *that*" every time you present me with samples of your creativity, only to be forced to set the standard even higher whenever you *do* surpass yourself is unbelievable. I thank you for that, as well: for the way you surprise me ever so often with how talented you are and with what a brilliant artist you are showing yourself to be.

The thing that sets my "warning, joy-inducing factors overload!" alarms on the loose? You have dedicated it to me. That is amazingly generous of you, my friend. *hugs*

Ana, this is the most moving review I’ve ever received, not sure it is deserved, but I do love it and it has warmed a whole lot! :D No, don’t worry about the work, I will be honest, at the beginning I felt the song was too heartbreaking and that is why it took me three months to do this, and I planned to do it much simpler than it turned out, but there was your touch, once I started working on it, the song made me fall in love with it, the lyrics were just as complex as the Spike and Buffy relationship has been over the seasons, it made it justice to its many contradictions and moments of extreme darkness and extreme light. The song does all the magic, it has such a very and powerful rythmn that hypnotizes.

And secondly, you deserve this vid, which is all yours, because you introduced me to Buffy and it has really inspired me in so many ways, I never was a tenth of this inspired in my previous fandoms. It’s a fact, whatever you like, I eventually not only like, but fall in love with. LOL

*big hug* :D
