Very interesting crossover :)
It was fun to see Spike and Drusilla interact on the island of misfits :)

Whew! "Interesting" can mean so many things, but "fun" always satisfies. Thanks for commenting, m'dear!

I've never heard of the misfits. I did enjoy the fic, though. It had a whimsical not quite all there quality, which is very fitting for a Dru fic. And as always, you write Spike and Dru very well indeed.

I didn't spot any Britspeak mistakes, btw.

Oh dear. It figures that I would hit on a strictly US holiday tradition. Rats. I'm glad it came off as whimsical instead of incomprehensible, though. I think I was blocked because I was trying to indicate that Drusilla was having a much different experience than Spike, which is frelling hard, but it got eaiser once there was an animate character that they could both relate to. I didn't think talking toys or reindeer would register with anybody but Dru.

Thanks for commenting, and I'm psyched that I didn't screw up the British! Also, I'm all warm inside from your compliments to my Spru! *blushes*

Ooh, twisted and hilarious! And the picture alone was worth the price of admission!

twisted and hilarious

*preens* You really know how to romance a girl, dontcha? I must admit that my photo shot was inspired by your "Spike with a menorah" photo. Now I can go read the accompanying story, since this is finally off my plate and onto the interwebs!

Thanks for commenting, dear!

I love the banner! And I really enjoyed the fic. I usually stick to Spike/Buffy stories for reading, but I couldn't resist this after seeing the summary. And I wasn't disappointed. :)

A side note: I couldn't get Doctor Who's (Ten) voice out of my head as I read your warning and summary. "Sorry. Really Sorry." LOL!

I really enjoyed this twisted crossover.

Hee! Your Doctor Who reference makes it a triple crossover, I think! Score!

I'm glad you enjoyed the fic. I'm partial to Spike and Buffy, too, but there's something appealingly macabre about Spike and Dru that keeps me coming back. It must be my obsession with absurdity. The banner is ample evidence of that, I think. Heh.

Thanks for commenting! I'm so pleased you weren't disappointed!

P.S. Nice icon!

Hee! Like shapinglight, I don't know the misfits but enoyed this anyway! The Dru-hating-squirrel blood, and then the polar bear problem and... well, hee!

Phooey! The Rudolph special is ubiquitous and venerable here in the US. I might have to stick a YouTube link into some authors notes for the international audience. Still, I'm glad you had fun with it anyhow. I'm not sure if Dru was being picky about the squirrels because of a genuine dislike, or because her tooth was hurting. Possibly, even she doesn't know.
