this is right from my blog, but for some reason i felt like posting it here
So this is over and it saddens me. Tonight was amazing, the crowd loved it, but that didn't matter, we loved it. Everyone of us, i think, got so into it. I can't wait to see the video. Every minute of it was so fun, the best 4 minutes of my "choir life" but wait choir is life right, ha. The seniors, wow we have huge shoes to fill. I told my mom that and she responded with motherly knowledge No you don't have shoes to fill you have ones to create. I like that. Still though, you are all such talented people. I feel honnored to be on the same "team" as you. I realized that there are so many people at Shores that I wish I knew better. I am going to miss many individually but mostly You as a whole. You are something, i feel you deserve some funny choir title like we give all our stuff. The era of___________, you fill it in. I usualy don't like the choir ego thing that we have going on but really there are moments when you can't help it. I can't wait to see were you all go in life. Famouse or not you will always have an amazing talent. I am in awe of so many of you everytime you sing. Not only am I going to miss the seniors but my wonderful amazing second soprano friends. Who will i follow durring warm ups for harmony, I love those times when we sing something rediculus and lawton looks at us. Allye, Liz, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO. You deserve chamber, but this year has been the greatest ever. I love you S2's, the back row blue eyed beautys...k that was cheesy.
So when you all go out in life and make cd's and play in sold out concerts please give inform me. I wish you all the best of luck in college and whatever path you choose to travel down. I have been truly blessed to be able to sing with you.
