You know, this has been a huge year for music and everything, but LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver is easily my favority album of the year. I think it's really hard to make a really consistent dance punk record. Even The Rapture's newest had a couple of filler tracks, y'know? But James Murphy fucking went to town on Sound of Silver. It's an hour's worth of hot dance jams. And their live show is killer as well. I saw them again the other night with Arcade Fire (fo' free too) and they blew me away again.
