Who knew that Ginny and Harry would end up hooking up in the sixth book? I certainly didn't. Harry's lust for Ginny--"She's Ron's sister. But she's ditched Dean! She's still Ron's sister. I'm his best mate! That'll make it worse. If I talked to him first- He'd hit you. What if I don't care? He's your best mate!"--was so effing sudden. The point is, Ginny really liked Harry and took the time to step back from all her nervousness and eventually became his friend. So you just have to have hope if you really like someone. Ginny and Harry ended up "talking about Quidditch," SO IN YO FACES, CYNICS.

Today was one of the awesomest Valentine's Days I've ever had. First thing in the morning, I opened up my locker and was surprised to find a pink heart made of contruction paper. It said, "For the next 2 months, it's not a felony," with the i dotted with a heart. It wasn't as funny as the one I found taped to the wall opposite Shady City though: "I LIKE YOUR WHOREMOANS." So awesome, I hella took it. Then I had several cookie orgasms due to Kathryn's spectacular cooking. Mitchell let us eat lollipops in reg. Rachel brought a huge bag of those Necco hearts that I love. (The first two that I got were "Thank you." Later on, I got one that said "Fax me"! Haha.) I got out of College & Career early and got to share my dried squid with Ramon and Linda. Aron didn't want any. (Three Asians, two Caucasians vs. One Caucasian, one African-American, one...um, I don't know what Aron is. In conclusion, NO ASIAN CAN RESIST MY DRIED SQUID!!!!) Sophie, Aza, Janay, and I went into the library and peeked through bookshelves. I had the most fulfilling mod 13 in a long time. I was actually worn out by the time Sophie and I plunked ourselves down in the choir room for Club Rep. We played with a pink balloon, even though the wind made it extremely difficult. Potterheads was fun. We planned out our own seventh novel, called Harry Potter and the STD of DOOM (DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUN).
Afterwards, we kicked around a green-ish ball that Linda had found. The wind was totally wild. It was madness. My frizz was flying around everywhere. The only bad part of the day was missing a completely empty M when I was right across from it. The operator didn't stop! I waited for half an hour for a crowded M that kept on starting and stopping, finally coming to a halt at West Portal. "There's a fire in the tunnel!" "Some electrical switch is having difficulties." The whole thing was shut down. It was the first time that's ever happened while I was on the M. We all ended up crowding into a shuttle bus to take us through the Castro, Van Ness, etc. It got nice and peaceful then though. I had my raisin bagel, new earbuds, a book (one of those Asian books =O but still a book nonetheless), and a seat in the middle. Oh yes. Today wasn't depressing at all. Except there seemed to be more roses around in the hallways than usual...But whatever. They don't even come with nice cards. That's not romantic! That's not, I tells ya!
