Amanda Palmer @ the Troubadour, part 4 (last part!)
Sep 01, 2009 00:57
Amanda read one of the stories Neil Gaiman wrote for the Who Killed Amanda Palmer book. Now having my own copy of the book, it turns out the story she read ended up being my favourite. The story is beautiful. I was going to try to sum it up but I don't think I'd do it justice. If any of you have the book, it's the one with girl and the jewels. Anyone who doesn't, I can show it to you. (Related: My favourite photo in the book is the one with the typewriter. It's fucking genius when you pair it with its story.) Everyone was quiet and respectful while she read and her reading of it was perfect.
I always feel weird saying I love something that's my own work but I love the one above.
You know what's amazing? Lighters, instead of mobile phones.
