I would never post-process something like this now*. The colours would be way more vivid and there would be a lot more contrast. The colours looking the way they do here is the largely the result of the fact that I was using Photoshop CS (not CS2 or 3) to post-process at the time. CS' version of Camera Raw supported RAW files but not from my particular camera so working with photos was basically resetting all the stuff you'd usually fuck with on the camera itself. A lot of my shots up until I obtained CS3 have this problem.
*I have enough of a problem getting around to going through photographs I've taken recently. I have no intention of adding 'post-process photographs from two years ago' to my list of things to do. Besides, I'm especially bad about getting that done when the photos don't feel fresh anymore.
