I thought about the word language and how it has, since my childhood, made me think of scrambled eggs made with American Cheese. It is the guage in language that is associated with scrambled eggs. I like the way it sounds. The sound and taste make me think of eating that sandwich on family visits to the Bronx Zoo sitting on long brown benches near the African Serengetti exhibit.
For me, hearing a new language for the first time and biting into a scrambled egg sandwich are exactly the same.
