Yep! Its got a really nice vibe, I love taking classes there. Very small number of students and alot of hands on stuff.
Your minor is in marine biology? Thats awesome, its my major :D I'm taking classes up in Hattiesburg next semester (I took Physics up there last semester) Were you required to take organic chemistry?
I don't think I am required to take it, though I may end up anyway, I would like to double major. (I don't really like journalism, but would like to eventually work for a nature magazine, so I chose that as my major, but biology is my true love along with photography).
Ah, that's a smart idea, going into both. I did the tagging thru NOAA but was unable to do it this year b/c it takes a 2 week chunk outta the semester :/ I'm sure you could contact the instructors of this class I'm taking (being that you are already a usm student and all) and they would probably let you go out on one of their short research day trips that are on the coast. Jill Hendon and Eric Hoffmeiyer are their names.
