repairs to the core have been at least partially successful, but further work will be required in the future, I think. In the meantime, I will be concentrating on upgrading the vocabulary and range of my building abilities, and working with flow problems as I have time. There really aren't enough people concerned with that, it seems.
On a very different note, It appears that the Harry Potter Shipping debate has collapsed, at least for now, with the H/Hr and R/Hr shippers in particular, firmly in their respective camps. Personally, I believe that R/Hr could happen, but if it does, I hope it doesn't last, because it will not work out for them. They have flow problems. Similarly H/Hr could happen, and they don't have that problem, on the contrary, things flow quite vigorously between them at times, and gently and nicely at others. But the problem here is Ron. He is very fragile, actually, his worldview shaped around what he doesn't have, not what he does have. He may see Harry and Hermione together as the last straw and turn against Harry. And then comes my favorite new character onto the scene. Luna. Luna really brings the whole shipping scene into perspective for most people. She sees something in Ron that no one else seems to have caught on to, including Ron himself. And I know she can show him what life is really about in a way that Hermione never could. On the other hand, Harry also needs her, although perhaps more as a friend than a lover. But she believes in him, and that what he needed. Then again, she also believes in Ron, I think. Ron spent his whole life believing he was poor. What Luna understands is that he is not poor, and I believe by the end of this story she will be able to show him that his true worth is within himself and not in what he has externally.
