Treasure Chest !
Well it is here ! and it already looks at home as the pic attached will hopefully show.
What is quite likely Fleetwood Pellew's sea chest and at any rate is certainly a sea chest of the Pellew dynasty is now at home in my hall.
Loading it in the car today we were being careful with it and then remembered that it has known rather rougher handling in its time.
Its eventual destination is probably the sitting room but for now it is standing in the hall as if Fleet were just home from a cruise and has come to visit the old man :)
