A bridge not too far - for a fangirl anyway !

This weekend I was in Cambridge for work purposes -and, by request of anteros_lmc also something of a pilgrimage.
As Friday evening was sunny and beautiful if alarmingly autumnal I decided to fit in my pilgrimage to a bridge whose chief beauty ot fangirl eyes is that it was once the setting for the lovely Jamie in his film debut while a student.
Alas no nervous looking beautiful boy in an oversized flying jacket was to be seen but here are afew pictures nevertheless showing the bridge near the boathouses on the Cam and especially for eglantine_br you will see that swans were the view from the bridge on Friday.
And I spent the weekend in the company of a lovely spaniel = but unfortunately no photo available!
A quite senior spaniel - aged 12 and very sedate these days but sharing Bartholomew's preference for lamb ...
