I'll be getting my Supernatural S4 DVDs today. FINALLY. Only had them on pre-order since the dawn of time. Can I afford said DVDs? No. But grandma gave me money AND this is my birthday month so pfft.
Anyone else watching Defying Gravity?? ABC is run by morons. This show is more than halfway decent. I'd say it's easily three-quarters decent. PLUS it stars Ron Livingston. It looks expensive (large familiar cast, fancy sets, special effects) and it's got a serialized, big-concept-style storyline... so what does ABC do? Launch it in the middle of freaking AUGUST with little-to-no fanfare whatsoever. I dunno... sounds stupid to me. This show should be airing in the fall OR at the beginning of the summer (a la Harper's Island) but WTF... AUGUST? Who's paying attention in August? Other than me, that is. I need a job programming television.
So my NCIS obsession continues. I dream of Tony DiNozzo every night. Which is totally ok with me because of all of the yumminess. I have a theory that Tony is the same character as Dean Winchester - just on a parallel plane. I think if Dean were legit and didn't have a fucked up life, he'd probably be Tony. Let's compare:
Dean:
- Obsessed with his car
- Babe-crazy/loves to get it on with the chicks and flirt
- Constantly makes references to pop-culture - especially classic rock and movies
- Snarky wit
- HAWT
- Is all that and a bag of chips
- Calls his geek-boy sidekick funny names ("ginormo" being my personal fave)
- APPEARS to be a fuck-up... but is actually very, very good at what he does
- Can kick ass when necessary
Tony:
- Obsessed with his car
- Babe-crazy/loves to get it on with the chicks and flirt
- Constantly makes references to pop-culture - especially movies
