These don't come around very long, friends, so pay attention and take notes. ;)
In approx 6 minutes I have a phone interview for a new job with the company I left back in December... it's for a completely different position - one that I'm super stoked about - but I'm nervous as all hell. I have very little experience being interviewed - I've done it like maybe 5 times and got hired each time. I've CONDUCTED like a hundred interviews, though, so my nervousness is unwarranted... especially since I know this company inside and out and all of those interviews??? I did for them... so I know the kind of crap they ask and what they want to hear.
Additionally, I'm nearly assured to get past the phone screen to the hiring manager as I know someone on the inside who told the hiring manager to interview me... the recruiter rejected me but the hiring manager un-rejected me. So why am I so nervous???
Okay... it's like 4 minutes away.
Gotta go.
I have notes that I have to study.
NERD
ETA: BLAHHHHH! Interview is over. I talked SOOOO fast but then so did the recruiter... searching for ANY WAY to make my old job sound like it has anything to do with my (hopefully) new job.... Won't know until next week whether I'm going in for an interview with the hiring manager.... ack a doo.
