Woe Philippines, woe!
Somehow the lies have won again. Ferdinand "Bong Bong" Marcos Jr. has, along with his coterie, if not handlers, of fascist, violent, authoritarian forces, has been unaccountably voted President in the Philippines. Considering his VP is Sara Duterte (and it does not seem she has fallen far from the crude, violent, hateful tree) so I imagine we will see little more than a continuation of the previous Duterte regime turned up to 11.
