Ahhh why did he have to leave?
Chase and I had a great time while he was in.. we got to meet Heather's fiance Jeris, who I REALLY like and is perfect for Heather. Ive been sending a lot of ~wedding vibes~ her way because they had to up their date from Sept 9 to August 25th, and change the time because her grandmother is having brain surgury at the end of August and they want to be there for her. I keep telling her that things will go off without a hitch.. the most important thing is they will be married!
Chase also got to meet Jackson.. no not a person, the Brown/Cornett families new beagle puppy! He is adorable, my stepbrother has been begging for one for years and he finally got his wish. He is one little lazy adorable baby. Makes me want a puppy even more but we are still going to wait til we are out of this apartment to get one and we actually have time to take care of him/her! Then we can 'pug bowl' right baby? haha
On Sunday we went up to Roan Mountain just to walk around for a little bit. It felt SO good up there because it stays cool all year long. That is definitely one of my favorite places to go around here.
Other than that, having him here definitely backs up my idea that living with him will be the best thing ever, and so much fun every single day. He makes me laugh more than anyone in the world.
He goes up to Boston on Monday for the convention (and to get his award!) and I have my Praxis test on Wednesday, then he will be back on Saturday for good.
All in all, August is going to be quite an eventful month, with him moving in, the test, getting everything in order for school (or not), my birthday we will be spending out of town, and Heather's wedding! Shew!
Today is employee appreciation at work.. if you work an 8 hr shift (which I am), your usual two 15 minute breaks turn into two 30 minutes breaks and your usual 30 minute lunch turns into an hour! Im not gonna know what to do with myself! Apparently there is a lot of free food, games, and Citi Idol. That should be amusing haha.
