It goes bigger when you click on it, but you probably already knew that. A concern I have is that the brightness on my monitor is very high and it may be coming out too murky/dark in tone on other monitors, so you may not be able to see the details as well as you should.
i changed the monitor at work yesturday when i first saw it and thought that if i made it slightly brighter i would be able to see it better and yes i figured that if i clicked on it it would go bigger....i would still like to see it bigger than that though....
ah, well I have a big version on the computer, but there is no way I will upload that on the net, as people might steal it. I may have also sold the piece too, to a demo band.
I think that the use of dominant mass as a design element adds strength to the subject matter - however the busyness created by the layering of multiple elements counters the potential power of your work.
Hmm, I did think it was perhaps a little too busy myself, though when I took away an element, it just seemed so empty, as if it was lacking something. If I was to take away anything, it would be the piping on the middle of the bird, as that was a last minute touch that I am still a little unsure of. But thank you all the same for your constructive criticism! :)
At first glance I would tend to agree with Adam, however the more I look at it and the use of "shadowing" (no idea if that is the correct term or not.) I have come to really like it in its entirety
Its almost like the piece eco's itself throught the layers.
Yes, I thought perhaps the mechanical part in the middle of the bird made it look a bit cluttered, though I suppose the background is quite busy too, but I meant it to be that way. :) I am glad you picked up on the stylised shadows I did as I very much meant them to be closer to a surreal echo of the objects rather than just a shadow. :) Thank you for the compliments.

In short, sometimes less is more.
