Happy New Year EVERYONE!!!
I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday. I have probably had one of the best christmas' ever this year. Lets also hope that 2007 doesnt suck as much as 06 did. I mean for once my dad was in a good mood this year, even though my grandparents are not around the family got together to open gifts. Matthew and I had people over, and we open gifts as well. I thought it was gonna suck having to spend the night in orange again..but it wasnt that bad I suppose.. the car ride back sucked cause I was crammed in the back seat with a ton of shit.
The only thing that sucked was that my aunts dog Candy..died the day after christmas due to old age and being sick..she did hold out for the holiday though and I think it comforted her to see everyone..she sat next to me the whole time I opened gifts and did her best to eat a little and wag her tail...she was one of the sweetest dogs ever. I will miss her.
As for gifts I loved everything I got, my parents for once had extra money this year so they got my sister and I a ton of stuff...including cell phones (with a really dumb plan..but they dont know any better and plus who cares its better than nothing) So I have a new number and for once a decent form of communication with the outside world...that i dont have to pay for.
I finally got a jewelry armoire, something I have been wanting for a long ass time. Other things inlcuding: cute panties, towel with a dancing skeleton guy on it, goulish candy dish, pretty cross necklace, little bit of money, and some other little things. From extended family the high lights were: a BEAUTIFUL ,shiny reddish buddha :) one of my favorite things actually, some clothes, my aunt vicki got me a gorgeous jewlery box that is black and shaped like an asian temple and is hand painted with designs and people riding horses on it..its sooooo pretty..
My roomate got me a black tank top with BOO BERRY on it!!!!!!!! and i got 2 gift certificates for Victorias Secret one from Matthew and one from my sister. Matthew also got me one of the greatest things ever. He found a Split Second vinyl... "From the Inside" ...which I almost shit my pants, because i couldnt believe he found it..and it was in the dollar bin!!!!!!!! They are selling for like 10 bucks on ebay here and there..I just LOVE IT. Matthews mom sent me a lil money, and she sent the MABEL some new kitty toys and treats :) .
One of the funniest gifts was one my mom got, it really wasnt supposed to be funny..but I thought it was. She got a light up mexican syle jesus clock, which little LED lights (red) blink fast and out line jesus on the cross. She hated it..and she gave it to me. Then I gave it to matthew. Its one of those things that is so damn ugly you have to like it..lol.
I did get to see Roxy, which is always great.. I got her this toy from petsmart it looks like a long daschund that squeaks (its from the commerical with the puppy that is dragging the toy that is as big as him) any way so she loved it so much that she played with it and in the first 15 min she managed to chew the head off of it, lol. So my aunt had to take it from her..cause she will eat it. And that makes her sick. I love that dog..she just gets prettier and prettier...her color is changing again and now she has black markings down her back.
I just feel so lucky it just fucking rules. It was just a really great christmas.
Speaking of the Mabel. She is turning out to be one of the greatest cats. She just LOVES to sleep next to me and nap, or just sit on my lap. She has had a constant battle with fleas and the frontline isnt working that well. So thankfully she isnt horrible when i give her baths and comb her etc. And for some reason, she loves to play with q-tips..and will follow me around here and there trying to 'help' me with whatever i am doing. I love smushy face Mabel.
...the ferret just woke up.. I think he was sleeping in cause its dreary/rainy as hell outside. :)
