Comfort for rainy days

It's currently autumn, heading into winter here in Melbourne and the weather is absolutely crazy! Seriously, on Friday, we had a 30 degree day and the next day was only 12 degrees! What is this.

Aish, typical Melbourne weather...

I was totally unprepared for the cold snap and ended up getting sick. Unfortunately for me, I was also working two 9 hour shifts and another two 4 hour shifts in a row over the weekend, and that just made me even sicker. On the bright side, double pay on Friday and Saturday because it was a public holiday...

Basically, now that work's over for the week, I just want to drink tea all day long and sleep forever. And by forever, I mean forever. I've been drinking litres and litres of oolong tea (鐵觀音) and wrapping up in an endless amount of scarves and hoodies. Thank god, I'm on Easter break for school, because with all the stress and work from my final year piling up, I reckon I would've had a breakdown by now.

The pressure is really increasing on me to get into med school now, and the entry prerequisites for the biomedical undergrad course at the top two universities in Melbourne is not easy.

So all I'm going to do over the next three or four days while my cold goes away is wrap up warmly, drown myself in tea and watch Shut Up! Flower Boy Band. And then, maybe, just maybe, I'll think about the menacing pile of homework stacked up on my desk.

On a more positive note, I think I've sort of worked out a plan for the next semester of school so that I don't fall behind. And I've kind of planned out the rest of my stories on AFF.
