Whee!
Ah, today was a very good day! I actually got to go out and have some fun for a change and it felt GOOD!
I bought my costume, but I'm still hunting the great intarwebs and costume stores for a good mask. I went to Jantzen Beach to hit up the TRU and found the coolest Halloween store on the way. I know I'm going back there to get some gloves to go with my costume when I get it(hopefully Monday!). They didn't have any of the Pokemon Trading Figure starter packs(boo!) but 'tis OK. Went to Target and bought nothing and then off to Barnes and Noble looking for a book they didn't have. x-x
I tell ya I was starting to feel like it was a big pointless trip when we went to WinCo to get stuff for dinner tonight(will be having ranch chicken, boiled potatoes and dessert of my making). On the way out though I actually managed to get a plushie out of one of those Sugar Loaf claw machines(yay!) and felt better. We ended up having to go all the way to the WinCo in Van Plaza to look for cat litter and they still didn't have any, eventually I just bought it at the nearby Petsmart. Elfy and I got to pet a couple of absolutely adorable cats while we were there as well and then I finally found my book at the Barnes and Noble in Van Plaza.
Ah, me and the book were meant to be. I couldn't find it ANYWHERE and I was beginning to wonder if it actually was out or if I'd just hallucinated it when on my way out of the place with a dice/board game and the latest Discworld novel I found what must have been the last copy in the store abandoned on a shelf of magazines! I was so happy. :hugs book:
Had some good luck today and I'm really thrilled. Aniki is playing Guitar Hero Rocks the 80's, Elfy and I played the board/dice game and I should get around to cleaning things so we can eat.
