First off I'd like to say "Thank you" to all the people who wished me luck on the trip. Much huggles and love all around. After today..I think I'll need it.

Overall, I guess it wasn't that bad. Shall we start?

Wake up at 10am, get told to pack last minute stuff and do so, go back to sleep for awhile and then get woken up to be told that the truck driver is there to pick up the trailer. Watch the trailer go and then go back to helping Aniki pack the things that need packed into the car Grab the animals and hit the road around 1PM EST.

Drive for a fairly long time, blow lots of money on the Ohio Turnpike, zip over Indiana(lovely toll roads out there, honestly..very nice) and then end up in Illinois on their "toll highway" spending way the fuck too much money to drive though construction and shit and generally just feel like any second you were about to die..fuck you Illinois..I hate you're stupid state and your stupid highways..rawr!

Anyway, eventually we end up on this tiny little two lane road, with oncoming traffic in the other lane and no foreseeable exits anywhere, going through godonlyknows in Iowa and..UGH..I start to get upset, it's late, I'm tired, are we going to find any /real/ hotels? I doubt it, I just want to get back on I-80 because it's an Interstate and I feel more relaxed on them..with stops and cities and nice little things like that, so we tell the GPS lady to get us down to I-80 and she takes is down this long curvy nowhere dirt road at 10 at night through the middle of nowhere Iowa..and ..yeah.

So finally after spending 10hours in the car and one breakdown later we reach the hotel and settled in. We drove over 400miles today and I'm tired.

I do feel the need to point out the interesting things I saw today: Donkeys, A Ferrari dealership right next to a Maserati dealer and a Lamborghini Murcielago..OMG! Yeah..that was sort of worth it. Hee..

Anyway..I'm totally founding People Against Stupid Illinois Toll Roads(PASITR) because I think it's a noble cause! I was so happy to get out of Illinois..bah.

Hopefully tomorrow we will fare better..
