plafulmispeling has done something like this, and when I mentioned the idea to
silma, she squealed at the thought. I don't know why she did...oh well.
Anyways, I too am going to take icon requests, with a twist. Since I am not that great at making icons by myself...you know, all garnished with brushes and text, I will at the very least take any (somewhat decent) image and crop, colour, and clean it up for you. It doesn't matter whether it's manga (black and white or colour), anime, or real photos...I'm up to the challenge to try anything. If you want me to follow any guidelines...like, specific colour schemes, etcetera, let me know.
Believe me, I take LOTS of time on working on my bases...sometimes even days. But, even so, I'll take a stab at making an actual icon, too...I'm just not that great at it.
I suppose I'll limit three requests per person, because I'm not as popular. Make sure you provide me with a somewhat decent, large enough file. I have the right to refuse to use any image, but I'm sure that will probably not be a problem.
When I'm done, I'll post them here, so check back frequently!
