As the rightful owner of that icon, I have to defend it.
In America, the word 'cunt' is used as a misogynistic derogatory term, but in Britain, it's used as a general insult, along the lines of 'dick', and has no gender-related overtones. Also, the word cunt was at one point a long time ago, not obscene, but rather just a word used for the vagina. While the American right still taboos the word 'cunt' as well as other obscenities because they're under the false impression that censorship is decency, when in fact that could be further from the truth, (but I digress) some reactionary feminists also are disgusted by said C-word. But there is a popular movement among many feminists (which I am) to reclaim the word 'cunt' in much the same way the gay rights movement has reclaimed the word 'queer'. So in their ideal word, the derogatory term 'cunt' will have lost all of it's power, and the word 'cunt' can once again become a slang term for a vagina and a slang term for someone who's just generally a piece of shite, like the guy who made Michael Moore Hates America.
It doesn't matter anyway, because he's stolen my current icon as well.
Yeah, I only think it's derogatory because people have told me it is. Had I not known, it would be just another word. Though it was bothering me, I said nothing. Not my place to tell anyone to not use certain words...
