I don't think running water will stop them. My roommate, before she vanished, was one of the Slayers. From what Buffy told me about vampires the only things that can stop them are a wooden stake through the heart, beheading, sunlight, and fire.

Really? Bending's fairly common where I'm from. Earthbending is the most common, with Firebendering coming in second, Waterbending third, and Airbending all but extinct, save the Avatar, who is the only person with the ability to bend all four elements.
