Me: Good morning!
Mom: Oh, I can hear you much better today!
Me: Really?
Mom: Yeah, so you called Dad late last night. You must have left work late.
Me: Yeah, I went for a walk/run.
Mom: What about Malak?
Me: No no, I went for a WALK.
Mom: You hung out with Malak?
Me: No! WALKING/RUNNING!
Mom: OH! You went for a walk with Malak!
Me: WALK! NO MALAK! WALK! NO MALAK!
Mom: Oh! Walk no Malak!
*Mom starts laughing, I can also hear Dad laughing in background*
Me: So you can hear me better today, huh?
Mom: Yeah......
