(no subject)
So when some shaking woke me up this morning in Mission Valley (I was dogsitting overnight for my coworker), that was apparently ANOTHER minor earthquake. The condo I was in shook last night and I thought it might be one, but then when it shook this morning, I assumed both must be a garage door below me or something - so I guess last night was, but this morning wasn't?
Checked the news again, and looks like we've had a series of "microquakes" over the last week, most off the coast of La Jolla (about 10 minutes from where I live). Who knows... let's just hope we're not headed for some big one.
ps I don't know the definition of a weekend off - this past weekend I wound up doing a charity event at 6:30 am on Saturday morning (but it was for kitties, so I'm down with it), then worked for 4 hours helping clean out files in a storage room before everything in our department went electronic (the first of many days we'll need to do that), and then went to Malak's condo to dogsit. But that last part was a pretty dang relaxing night - took dogs out for a walk, played with them a bunch, relaxed and watched DVDs and went to bed at 9:30pm :D
