So I came home from work the other day kinda soggy from the rain. Next door a lady was fiddling with her door, when she saw me open mine she turned and introduced herself saying that she thought that I had a package for her and she'd locked herself out. Not really thinking I looked around saw that a package had been left for her and handed it over before saying goodbye.
I bimbled upstairs whereupon it occurred to me that when she said locked out she might not have a key and her housemates (if she had any) should probably have let her in by now. So like the dumbass I am I wandered back downstairs and sheepishly opened the door to find her still stood on her doorstep in the rain. I invited her inside apologising for my earlier faux pas and we stood around chatting awkwardly while she worked out what to do. Eventually she decided to meet up with a friend and find somewhere to crash as it turns out she probably won't be able to get a spare key until next week. I hope things work out for her because now she's realised what a weirdo she has to live next to.
In heartwarming news, as I was wandering home I noticed a former client from Foundation working in a shop. I'm glad to see that they're doing well. Also, my friend Samantha got in touch with me, I haven't spoken to her in years so it was really nice to catch up.
Have a lovely day whatever you're up to.
