hopefully a much shorter post
mainly because it was a couple days ago and my memory just doesn't work well
2D Design: we didn't have a projector so after a while we moved to a class downstairs to use one of the others cuz we needed it for our lesson. The teacher had been told no one would use that room but apparently she was misinformed as like maybe 10-15 minutes into our lesson this tiny Indian man barges in shaking his finger at her declaring "I WILL CONDUCT MY CLASS TODAY!"
after which he began to argue with her saying that ever since his arrival at UCF he has been an "orphan" and been pushed around from room to room and so on.
So we skedaddled out of there ASAP and continued in our original classroom with a borrowed projector.
Art Fundamentals II: I was pretty much screwed since the night before I was unable to purchase the required 2X3 ft newsprint pad that apparently is only sold in the art store all the way in Winterpark and Sam Flax which is not exactly close by either. They didn't have it at Michaels. Of course by the time I made it to Sam Flax it was closed. So I didn't have the required materials nor did I have my homework which was a contour line self portrait on said newsprint.
There was a new girl in class luckily and she helped me out a bit. The teacher told her to get a newsprint pad from the vendor outside the classroom and she took me with her. I felt pretty stupid that I had not noticed the little art sale set up right outside the classroom. This guy from that art store in winterpark was gonna be there till tuesday selling supplies. So I got my stuff and it was all good :) no one seemed to notice I didn't turn in my homework...not yet at least.
and yes...sadly the cute guy was not there today, so I guess his credit did not transfer and there will be no eye candy in this class v.v
which really sucks because this happens to be my least favorite class of the bunch. The other classes are fun and interesting so far, but I've come to realize I rather dislike figure drawing classes as they tend to be terribly boring, redundant, and seemingly pointless.
I ate a delicious PB&J sandwich I had made for myself that morning and bought some vitamin water. Doodled in my notebook ideas for my 2D homework and listened to music until it was time to go wait outside my Art As Interface class.
Art As Interface: I absolutely love this teacher. He is a delight. Not only is he terribly funny but he seems to genuinely care for the well being of the students. He stays after class answering questions no matter how many students are there. He told us that Monday he stayed after like 40 minutes answering students to stayed to ask questions.
Art of Cinema: Dear God...
seeing as I wanted this to be a shorter post I won't even get into this one. I'll just say...I should have known what kind of students I'd have to deal with in this class. I should not have been surprised. The teacher is quite delightful in this class as well, but ya...the students...God help us all...
oh ya, and Jerry has that class with me so yay :)
