so when the power went out the other day it broke our router (sp?) for our dsl thus leaving me internet-less
realizing that we need the internet for things such as talking to people, ordering things online, registering kurt for colege, etc, my dad went into action
so, without wasting any time he called the internet place and told them the situation
"no problem" says internet guy "all you have to do is order a new router"
"great" my dad says with a slight sigh of relief "should i give you my information over the phone?"
"no" internet guy bluntly coughs out "you have to order it over the internet
now my dad's no moron. He thinks to himself 'maybe he misunderstood me?' "no, i'm calling you because we have no internet. thats the problem, we cant get on the internet"
"oh, well thats to bad" says the internet guy before hanging up
Moral of the story: to get the internet you must already have the internet
because that makes sense?
