back to square one
last friday was the freaking WORST. i went to work in detroit, and i talked to shelley (the girl who said back in november that she'd rent the upstairs of her house to me for $375 +half of utilities) and she said she had bad news for me. she has been telling me for a month that i'd be moving in the 2nd week of december, so my dad's got a trailer

this is what i don't understand about her explanation.. she told me for a month straight that she'd split the rent with me for the entire house, so that it would be cheap for both of us. didn't she consult with her dad about this over that period of time? or did she just decide it would be a good idea to make money off of someone instead? whatever, it's her loss... because i was going to paint the upstairs for her and help her out bigtime. i was even planning on buying her something for christmas that she could use for the house, like to show appreciation. i am really nice if you're nice to me, but for some reason assholes don't like to play that game.
jeff is my dream come true. and it's weird because i was pretty reluctant to be with him at first, unlike with other boyfriends where i just fell head over heels in love. jeff proved to me that he'd always be there. he buys me roses for no reason, he comes here every single weekend, he calls me on his breaks at work (about 3 times a day) and talks for as long as i want. he knows exactly how to comfort me when i'm upset. he just does everything right! and get this: he actually has a good job, which allows him to pay for dinners/movies/gifts and make me feel spoiled like a woman should be. :) plus he has a hot bod. ;)
yeah... back to being a college kid!!! now we can discuss school-related matters such as homework and exams. bahaha!

jeff called me just as i was reading your comment, so i asked him when we're getting engaged because my wonderful livejournal friend would like to know.. hahaha. we're pretty much getting engaged when i'm off probation, because you can bet my ass isn't staying in america after all this garbage. i'm going straight to canada.
